1. Publisher

The Zanyari app (hereinafter "the App") is published by BIRUSK APP (SIREN 790 558 332), based in France.

2. Purpose

Zanyari is an iOS app offering daily anecdotes centered on Kurdish culture and history as well as general anecdotes (science, world history, culture). Content is written by the publisher and their team and translated into five languages (French, English, German, Kurmancî, Soranî).

3. User account

Reading standard content does not require an account. Creating an account (via email/password, Apple Sign In or Google Sign In) is required to like, favorite, submit anecdotes, and subscribe to a Supporter subscription.

The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential. The user can delete their account at any time from the Profile screen (GDPR Article 17 compliant deletion).

4. Supporter subscription (in-app purchases)

The App offers a single "Supporter" subscription, billed monthly via Apple In-App Purchase. It gives access to Premium anecdotes, to the Quiz feature, to the ability to answer polls, and shows a supporter badge on the user's profile. Most of the content remains available free of charge and without an account. The subscription funds the development of the App and the team's other projects, in the service of a community project: making Kurdish knowledge available everywhere and to everyone.

• Automatic renewal: each subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end.
• Payment: the amount is charged to the Apple ID account within the 24 hours preceding the end of the current period.
• Management / cancellation: the user can manage or cancel their subscription at any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on their iOS device.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. User content

Users may submit anecdote proposals via the App. Every submission is moderated by the editorial team before publication. The publisher reserves the right to refuse, edit or remove any contribution.

By submitting content, the user grants the publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, translate and publish the said content within the App.

6. Intellectual property

All content of the App (texts, images, illustrations, trademarks, design) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction without authorization is forbidden.

7. Liability

The publisher does everything possible to ensure the accuracy of published anecdotes but cannot guarantee the absence of errors. An integrated reporting system allows users to flag any inaccuracy.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts.
